Lake Huron Fishing Charters From Drummond Island
Prime dates for Atlantic Salmon, Chinook, and Lake Trout
May 20th to June 13th, 2010
Enjoy a truly unique Great Lakes fishing experience aboard Stormy Chinook at some rarely fished mid-lake shoals that Capt. Dan has experimented with and mastered. The tricky currents and steep drop-offs around Drummond Island, Michigan require experience to fish successfully, and Stormy Chinook is the longest running charter boat on the island. When the offshore water is rough, the calmer near shore deep water around Drummond can be highly productive. Weather cancellations are very rare.

Lake Huron Fishing Charters
Caseville, Grindstone City & Port Austin

June 14th - July 25th, 2010

Great fishing begins from the ports of Caseville, Grindstone City and Port Austin in early spring when hungry trout and salmon roam the shallow waters of southern Lake Huron in search of baitfish. On May 1st, Michigan's Lake Trout season opens, and all the focus switches to the world class Lake Trout fishery that Michigan has to offer, with the catch being enhanced by a few Chinook, Steelhead, Walleye, and Whitefish. The calm winds and hot days of June and July continue to be phenomenal for Lake Trout, with steadily increasing catches of Walleye. After fishing, enjoy having your catch cooked for you at Captain Morgan’s Grindstone Bar and Grill.
